We have always used Pet Plan for our Cats and Dogs, well since we was able to afford it. A long time ago we couldn’t afford Insurance or large Vet Bills which is why we used the PDSA, and still support the PDSA today, but now its PetPlan all the way.
Pet Plan are one of the best insurances out there in my experience, for 3 main reasons.
- The amount of cover is PER YEAR not per illness, so if like Dumble Dog you have a slipping knee, its covered for life not just until that particular illness money runs out.
- Most Vets will arrange to claim the money direct from Pet Plan meaning you don’t have to fork out £100s or £1,000s in fee’s to get your pretty lil kitty looked at.
- Most Vets know what is and isn’t covered so no nasty surprises when claims are put in.
Now the Cats Protection League can get 10% of your insurance fee’s back if you follow the instructions given on here on their site, but they are pretty simple instructions.
